If you, banks can recall that since the 4th of November 2013, the public servants of the Federal government are on strike.
Some of these workers, may have collected or let me say, borrowed Money from your banks to solve their that time urgent financial needs.
You, the banks have laid down your agreed modalities to recover your Money. On a normal situation, if these workers are paid their Salaries as at when due, your loan recovery, will not have a harmful effect on them, but for the true fact that they are now in a hard time, you the banks have to consider their plight.
Most of these workers have domiciled their account to your banks before you granted them access to the so-called "LOAN". You called it salary-advance.
WHAT IS THE POINT HERE!
My point is that if you have any worker on your loan recovery sheets, consider them now that they are suffering. If any money happens to come in to their account in this industrial action time, please! Share it 50-50, then when things normalizes, you can go on with how you used to do it.
EXAMPLE!
A friend of mine, who is a worker, called me the other time and asked me to send to him N7000, to help him feed himself and his family. Now I sent the money to his account. When I let him know that I have sent in the money, he shouted: "oh! Princely you have killed me, the bank have taking it because my names are on their loan recovery sheet",
hmm!
As if that one was not enough, I was with him recently, and he demanded a bottle of cool Gulder from me, men! I have to ask him about the recent one month salary he collected or that was paid to him by his employer, he conclude: "the bank collected it too".
Financial institutions in Nigeria, should be working, by this, I mean find a way to stop these recoveries for now...or when money comes into these accounts, at this period, you share it 50-50 at least to keep body and soul together.
I know banks are not human, but they have ears, if they do not have heart.
HELP ME TO HELP YOU TO HELP HIM!
A worker, who have not been paid a naira since months and you keep debting him, what impression are you creating? Close these big holes and reopen it when things become normal for THE WORKERS DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG THIS INDUSTRIAL ACTION WILL LAST.
Please put those workers you have captured in recovery roll, not in hunger roll. My point!
